This cosy but luxurious cottage adjoins the main house and it shares the same breath-taking view over Esthwaite Water and the surrounding mountains. It is self-contained and is peacefully located.
The cottage has a separate entrance (off a shared private driveway) and comprises a ground floor lounge/diner looking towards the lake and mountains.
The living area has comfortable seating, a 26" flat screen (with Free Sat and a DVD/video player) and a selection of books and games. There are great lake and fell views through the picture windows. The stylish kitchen is custom-built in light oak with granite work surfaces and has a ceramic hob, Bosch split grill/oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/ freezer and washer/dryer.
The bedroom has a king-size bed and a single bed, both with duvets and linen is provided (towels can also be provided at £3.50 pppw).The bedroom is tastefully furnished with sumptuous fabrics and also has excellent lake and mountain views (see picture of view below). The stylish bathroom is luxuriously equipped and has a shower over the bath.
Outside, at the rear, is a private enclosed garden with a Lakeland slate terrace and garden furniture, perfect for meals "al fresco". This cottage garden is at the rear of the property and does not have a view of the lake. There is also a paved sitting area at the side of the cottage which does have good views. There is a parking space for one car. Tesco Direct will deliver food/groceries, if required. The cottage is suitable for 2/3 persons and one well behaved dog (sorry no cats) is accepted by prior arrangement.
